# Privacy Policy Last updated: 10 October 2026 ## Scope This Privacy Policy describes the App Tracker landing page and its informational pages. It does not describe registration, use of the App Tracker dashboard or API, payment processing, or applications that integrate the app-tracker npm package. Those services require their own privacy information. We do not use Application Insights for this landing page. The landing-page code does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage. There are no registration, contact, payment or account forms on this landing page. Hosting-related behaviour must be distinguished from the page's own code; the final hosting configuration remains subject to the verification described below. We do not analyse visitor behaviour or measure website usage through analytics tools. Technical network data required to deliver the website may still be processed by the hosting infrastructure as described below. Images, styles and JavaScript are served with the website. Fonts use those already available on your device; no external font service is contacted. The landing page does not send events or logs to the App Tracker API. ## Technical Data Required to Deliver the Website When you visit the website, your browser establishes a connection to the hosting infrastructure. Technical request data may include your IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, browser and user-agent information, and referrer information if provided by your browser. This processing is separate from visitor analytics. The purposes of this processing are to deliver the website, maintain availability, ensure security and protect the service against abuse and technical failures. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and efficient provision of the website. These data are not used by us for advertising, behavioural analysis or visitor profiling. Providing connection-related data is neither a statutory nor a contractual obligation; however, the website cannot be delivered without the necessary network information. ## Microsoft Azure Hosting The website is intended to be hosted using Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps with an Azure resource region located within the European Union. Static Web Apps distributes static content through geographically distributed infrastructure. Selecting an EU resource region does not necessarily mean that every request is served exclusively from within the EU. For hosting-related personal data processed on our behalf, Microsoft acts as a processor under the applicable Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum. This statement concerns processing on our behalf and does not classify every processing activity Microsoft may perform as processing on our behalf. Microsoft's contractual documentation describes subprocessors and safeguards for international data transfers. Depending on the applicable processing activity, transfers outside the EU/EEA may be based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The Microsoft contracting entity and the transfer arrangements applicable to this Azure subscription have not yet been confirmed. Optional Azure diagnostic data collection, resource logs and exports depend on the Diagnostic Settings configured for the deployed Azure resources. The final production configuration has not yet been verified. The absence of optional diagnostic collection does not mean that Microsoft processes no operational, security or service-related data. We do not use hosting data to identify, profile or track individual visitors. ## Retention The landing page does not maintain a visitor database and does not store tracking identifiers. Technical hosting data may be processed or retained by Microsoft for delivery, operational and security purposes in accordance with the applicable service terms and retention provisions. The exact categories of hosting logs and retention periods applicable to the deployed environment have not yet been confirmed. Therefore, we do not claim that all technical data are immediately deleted or that the hosting environment is entirely log-free. If you contact us, we retain your correspondence only for as long as necessary to handle your request and any related follow-up communication, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Retention is determined by whether the enquiry is resolved, whether follow-up is still required and whether the correspondence must be kept to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. ## Email Contact An email link opens your email application; clicking it does not automatically send a message. If you choose to contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Our legitimate interest is responding to enquiries and communicating with visitors. Email service providers may process correspondence on our behalf. ## Third-Party Links and Package Repositories The website contains ordinary links to the App Tracker application, npm and other websites. The website does not embed content or load scripts from these services. Following a link takes you to the respective provider, where its privacy practices apply. Installation examples shown on this website may reference third-party services such as npm. These examples are not executed by the website and do not initiate connections to package repositories when you view the page. The website sets a no-referrer policy to prevent browsers that support it from sending referrer information when following links. ## Clipboard If you click the copy button, the website writes only the displayed public installation command to your clipboard. The website does not read existing clipboard content and does not transmit clipboard content to any server. ## Your Rights Under the conditions established by the GDPR, you may request: - access to your personal data (Article 15 GDPR); - rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR); - erasure of personal data (Article 17 GDPR); - restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR); and - data portability where applicable (Article 20 GDPR). You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Article 21 GDPR).
